A committed and hands-on-service approach is the
hallmark of Bishop Herron’s ministry. He spans from the
congregation into the community with the heart of a
servant. This quality of ministry is an outgrowth from his position as the middle child of 11 born to Peter Charles Herron and Lethonia Howard-Herron.
He has served faithfully as a pastor along with his wife Lady Brenda Walters-Herron for 35 years. Together, their ministry has been an unbroken chain of service in song, in teaching, and in being a model of godliness,
humility, and diligence to the church, community, and their jurisdiction. It’s all augmented by the arduous study Bishop Herron has given to earn a Bachelor’s of Theology from North Carolina Theological Seminary in order to ensure on-going ministry excellence.
